General Scope of Project
This zero entry pool construction was themed to match the camp environment. The pool incorporated 3,000 sq. ft. and featured a triple loop water slide flowing 800 gallons per minute of water. The pool/pump house was enhanced with exterior finishes to fit into existing camp themes with separate toilet facilities for men and women. Beautiful natural Stone veneers, cedar shingle siding and exposed structural lumber completed the exterior surfaces of the structure. The site covers about an acre and was completed with sod, trees and landscaping to blend into the existing campsite.
We sure were honored to do our part to bring this vision of an amazing pool landscape to reality for the great folks at the YMCA’s Camp Piomingo. This camp has a history exceeding 7 decades of engaging youth in inspiring and positive ways.
Situated on 120 acres in the bluegrass of Kentucky Camp Piomingo has created memories lasting lifetimes for generations and our new pool construction will be a part of many generations to come.
Camp Piomingo’s Mission
What’s truly spectacular about the YMCA’s Camp Piomingo is it’s true mission, to believe in the potential of every child. Here’s an excerpt taken from the Camp Piomingo website:
That’s why we strive to create an environment that brings out the best in each camper. With a variety of artistic, athletic and team-based activities, Piomingo campers are given daily opportunities to find out who they are, who they want to be, and then — with the support of friends and our caring staff — develop the confidence and character to become that person.”
