DAVID Construction project’s primary objective for the design and construction of the Pleasure Ridge Park Fire Protection Facility was the creation of a highly functional building that met the operational and administrative requirements for the PRP Fire District. The project included three separate departments that operate relatively independently. The first area incorporated the administrative offices that serves the PRP Fire District as a whole. The second area served the equipment storage department that cleans and maintains all uniforms and equipment district-wide from this facility. The third area was designed to provide a fully functioning fire station with dormitories and apparatus bays. The entire building incorporated 18,800 sq. ft. of space. DAVID Construction incorporated its own forces for architectural design, steel erection, concrete, masonry and specialties.
